Candy by Grant is a relatively new company, but the concept dates back to about 20 years ago. One night just before Christmas, Grant decided to make some candy for his family. After putting his daughter to bed, he stayed up late on a Sunday night and made candy while listening to Christmas music. The candy was a hit, so it became an annual tradition.

In the years that followed, Grant tried selling candy wholesale, but it failed. Eventually, Grant went into accounting. He was looking for Christmas gifts for his clients and all of them seemed impersonal and uninspiring, so he decided to make candy for his customers instead. It became a two- to three-week process in December to create, package, and deliver all client gifts. There was just something about homemade gifts that seemed right.

By the mid-2020 Grant was ready to invest everything he had into Candy by Grant, which means that the full story of Candy by Grant is still to be written.
